Approximately 14.6% of the speeds were at or below the
instrument's stall speed, which is 1.1 cm/sec.

The gap between the two deployments of Mooring A5 that make
up this record is 16 hours long, on 04/05 May 93. The pressure
record from the instrument deployed after the gap indicates
that this instrument was about 150 meters shallower than the
current meter used before the gap. However, pressure records
from other depths on this mooring show no such discrepancy.
We conclude that the pressure sensor used at 1900 meters after
the gap was incorrectly calibrated or otherwise malfunctioned.
In any case, we have deleted pressure from that portion of
the joined record. Thus the pressure record ends early at line
6128 (1000 04 May 93).
