Speed contains two gaps:

    lines 3502 - 3897 (0000 11 Jan 96 - 2200 12 Feb 96)
    lines 4143 - 4472 (1000 04 Mar 96 - 2000 31 Mar 96)

Direction is present throughout, however.

Although the pressure record shows some signs of drift we have
retained it in the file. It indicates an initial depth of about
360 meters but drifts to about 345 meters by the end of the
record. (The instrument's nominal depth was 300 meters.)
